The Branch
Our Crook Branch opened its doors on 12th March, 2013. We are now Crook’s number one estate and letting agent and have been for over five years. Our office is well-positioned, in the heart of Crook’s town centre, just opposite the market place.
The office is headed by Julie Garthwaite, who has been selling and renting properties in Crook and the Durham Dales for over 33 years. All of our Crook team live locally and have a wealth of knowledge within the property industry. That makes us one of the most experienced estate agents in the area.

The Town
Crook is a small market town on the edge of Weardale, almost exactly central on the map of County Durham. Its location gives us the unique opportunity to attract properties not only in towns such as Crook itself and Bishop Auckland, but also in the stunning rural locations of Weardale, including the sought after villages of Wolsingham and Stanhope.
Over 200 years old, the town has its roots in agriculture as well as a rich mining history. The general area today is mostly rural with stunning landscapes and a scattering of towns and villages, sat in tranquil surroundings. There's a traditional feel to the town centre with independent shops and businesses, alongside major retailers, as well as the popular local market which is held every Tuesday.
