Our Durham office has recently received instructions to market a unique property in the picturesque village of Kirkby Fleetham, near Northallerton.

Lancaster House, a three bedroom detached cottage, is believed to date back to 1767 and has been with the current family for two generations.

An old headmaster at the local primary school previously owned the property with his sister residing in the adjoining cottage (now used as an outbuilding).

The Vendors leave with a heavy heart and have said:
