Tour de Branch a wheel success

After training hard since late April and teaming up most Sundays to train (we went as far as Richmond in North Yorkshire on our weekend sessions!), we were ready for Tour de Branch 2018.

The morning of the ride was an apprehensive one, but we knew we were as prepared as we could be. To be even bigger than last year, our team doubled in number to 44 riders and a couple from Amsterdam even travelled across the English Channel to join in the fun!

The ride was a fantastic event yet again and when our families and friends (both furry and human) gathered at the finish line we all felt proud that our hard work had paid off; we then limped home in our different directions for takeaways and an early night.

After closing our Just Giving page at the end of last week, we are delighted to announce that we smashed last year’s target and raised a grand total of £9,239 (£10,390.25 with Gift Aid included) for the Alzheimer’s Society.
