Homeschooling
Thankfully, like many parents around the country, we found the temporary homeschooling position a lot easier during the last lockdown and I enjoyed spending the extra time with my children, which we wouldn’t have usually had together. We’re lucky to live in a village surrounded by open countryside and plenty of public footpaths to wander down. We’ve covered more miles than I thought their little legs could manage, but it wears them out in the evenings, and they love being out in the fresh air, especially now the warmer weather is approaching. Even though we are no longer in lockdown, we are still continuing our long family walks.
A bit of ‘me’ time
Once the girls are settled in bed, it’s time to light the candles, grab a cup of tea (or something stronger) and enjoy binge-watching a new series – who’s with me? We’ve just completed Queen of the South on Netflix which is definitely worth a watch! What would you recommend we start next?
