Last month we introduced you to our new blog series, ‘Three things team Venture are digging’, and we learned Director Michael would love nothing more than an outdoor garden office!

We know how much you enjoyed reading Michael’s blog, so we wanted to continue the feature and share some more of the TV series, recipes and interior design trends which are inspiring our team.

So we grabbed a cup of tea and asked our other Director, Carl, what he is digging at the moment…

If money were no object…

I would build an extension! I would love a big kitchen and to make it the centre of the home. The kitchen is the place I spend the majority of my time – it’s where I cook, chill and socialise so it would be fantastic if I could increase the space in this room.

Interior design

As I spend so much of my time in the kitchen, I’m always researching new interior design trends for this room. Pinterest is my go-to app for finding new interior ideas. At the moment my favourite trend is royal blue kitchens, with gold fixtures and decorations!

Random purchase

Due to the coronavirus lockdown I’ve missed the Nespresso coffee machine in the Darlington office – I usually have about four coffees a day! So my random purchase has been one of the brand’s newest machines and I just love it! Not only do I get my coffee-fix, but it also helps to bring the office atmosphere into my home while I work.
