It’s almost Good Friday, and we all know what that means – fish and chips!

It’s the one day of the year when you don’t mind standing in a massive queue for your local chippy, whether it’s a rare sunny Spring day or tipping it down with rain.

So where are the best local places to feast on fish this Friday? Our property experts share their favourites.

 

Crook

This is Lisa, who prefers to get her Friday treat from The Great British Takeaway. No fish for her though – sausage and chips, all the way.

Durham

Our Durham team like to keep it classy when they go for fish and chips. Their favourite chippy is Bells Takeaway, just five convenient minutes across the river from the office. It would be rude not to!

Bishop Auckland

Aiden can’t even wait until 5 o’clock to go to Valentinos for his fishy fix. He brings his fish and chips back to the office and makes everyone super jealous.

Chester-le-street

Dan is so happy to work at Venture he takes our branding everywhere he goes! Just look at him picking up his favourite fish and chips from Clem’s Fish Restaurant.
