Catherine Roe, our Branch Manager at our Head Office in Darlington, offers an insight into her time at Venture and what she enjoys outside of work.

How long have you worked for Venture?

From Day dot?! Not sure what date this was I think it was Feb 2008.

How long have you worked with Carl?

16 Years

What’s the best/worst part of the job?

The best part of the job is handing the keys over on completion to a client/s and feeling we have helped them move in to their dream home. It's always a fantastic feeling when we see how happy we have made them feel. The worst is the stress that comes with the whole process for the clients!!!!!

Something to remember at Venture?

Every year we have the Macmillan coffee morning and we work really hard running up to the day and on the actual day to raise as much money as possible for this great cause. It’s a great day and we make it fun for everyone.

What do you like doing in your spare time?

Spending time with my family, especially going to watch Freddie play football for his team Escomb under 7s (who Venture sponsor).

What are your plans for the future?

To win the lottery and emigrate to a hot country! No, my plans are to continue to help Venture Properties grow. It has been an honour to have been here from the very start and I hope to be here for many more years to come.
