MacMillan coffee morning a huge success

Each year Venture Properties participate in the 'World's Biggest Coffee Morning' where all proceeds are donated to the essential work done by MacMillan Cancer Research. Anyone who has ever  had the need for a MacMillan nurse will be the first to praise these remarkable people.

This year our offices at Chester le Street and Crook joined in and we all had a great day meeting and greeting our visitors and having a bit of fun into the bargain. What struck all the team at Venture was how kind and generous people are. From the businesses that donated prizes to the raffle, to the buyers of the tickets and the cakes and the buscuits, to the people who popped in just to doante to the people who dropped money into the buckets as they walked past, all were so generous. Young and old in equal measure. Teenagers on their way to college or work and pensioners who came in for a coffee. All generations.

What we raised this year was £2,863.00  - in four hours. So thank you to all who played their part and to all the team at Venture Properties who worked tirelessly and whom we were extremely proud of.

We would also like to especially mention ouir neighbours DMA Law who were a great help to us in  reaching this magnificent target
