‘Hinching’ your home
If you haven’t heard of Mrs Hinch by now, then where have you been?
Sophie Hinchliffe’s passion for cleaning has gained her a 1.9 million-strong army of fans, known as the Hinch Army.
If you’re in the mood for a seasonal Spring clean, are wondering what all the fuss is about, check out some of her tips we love (and didn’t know before)!
Cleaning doors
Did you know you can use fabric conditioner to clean your doors? Mix a small volume with water and you can wipe down marks on your doors and their frames without removing any paint – who’d have thought it!
Cleaning bins
If you clean your bin with a disinfectant as usual, and then douse a piece of kitchen roll in the spray and leave it at the bottom of the bin, it will stay smelling fresh, even when it’s full!
Cleaning wooden floors
We all know that removing food mess from wooden floors can be a pain, but not anymore! Simply spray degreaser over the dried food and then use an electric toothbrush to remove it before wiping it away. Ta da!
Cleaning mirrors
A glistening mirror is very satisfying, right? If you want to achieve a smear-free shine, just spray a fine mist of white vinegar across the glass and wipe it away with a fluffy microfibre cloth.
Keeping your home sparkling clean can be a great selling tactic and is also your responsibility if you are a tenant - if you’ve got any other tips you’d like to share, let us know at @ventureprop; we’d love to hear from you!
