A great way to transform the mood of any room is with lighting. Whatever your style, there’s something for everyone; have you considered accessorising candle holders? It’s not only a crafty way to spend an afternoon but can add a touch of sparkle on a wintery evening. Freestanding lights are great for utilising small spaces and paired with dimmer bulbs can really create a cosy feel.

Mirrors are a magical way to create the illusion of space and can also act as fantastic statement pieces. If it would complement your room, why not consider an illuminated mirror for a sense of relaxation with an added touch of glam?

Modern artwork can add sophistication to any space and it doesn’t have to be expensive; your local charity shop could be housing your dream painting, or you could even create your own! Match the colours in your picture to the furniture in the room, to bring everything together stylishly.

Painting your walls is possibly the simplest and most cost-effective way to give your home a makeover. A lick of paint can breathe life into a dull room and is sure to keep you busy on those cold Winter weekends!
